Heart of Lions Football Club is a Ghanaian professional football club based in Kpandu, Volta. The club competed in the Glo Premier League, being relegated in 2015.

The club is a 2-time Winner of the GHALCA top 4 Competition in 2005 and 2009 respectively.

They are also the last club to win the Sports Writers Association Of Ghana (SWAG) Cup in 2009.

History

Heart of Lions FC were promoted to the 2009-10 Ghanaian Premier League and also finished in the top four of the competition the same year.

Heart of Lions FC er en ghanesisk fotballklubb basert i Kpandu. Klubben ble grunnlagt i 1953 og spiller for tiden i den ghanesiske Premier League.

Heart of Lions' hjemmebane er Kpandu Sports Stadium, som har en kapasitet på 5000 tilskuere. Klubbens kallenavn er "Lions of the North".

Heart of Lions har vunnet den ghanesiske FA Cup én gang, i 1989. Klubben har også deltatt i CAF Champions League og CAF Confederation Cup flere ganger.
