The Bahraini Premier League is the main football competition in the kingdom of Bahrain. Currently known as the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League, the first season was held in 1957. The winners of the domestic championship qualify for the AFC Champions League 2. The championship is currently contested by 12 clubs.
Bahrain - Premier League er den øverste divisjonen av bahrainsk fotball. Ligaen ble grunnlagt i 1957 og består av ti lag som spiller en dobbel serie med kamper. De to beste lagene kvalifiserer seg til AFC Champions League, mens det tredje laget kvalifiserer seg til AFC Cup. Det nederste laget rykker ned til Bahrain - Second Division.
